What is the Award in Education and Training Level 3?
The Award in Education was previously called PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector)
Everybody teaching adults will be required to achieve the Level 3 AET.
Once qualified, you will be able to teach adults within adult further education.
Sectors include further education colleges, training providers, first aid, health and safety, construction, hair and beauty and NHS trusts.
The course will teach you to understand how to use inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training as well as understanding assessment.

How long will it take me to achieve the qualification?
The qualification can be achieved between 1-2 months.
How much is the course?
The course is £350.00. However, when enrolling onto the course this month, the cost is £280.00 including registration.
Can the qualification be achieved remotely?
Theory and knowledge is delivered remotely to achieve the qualification. All you need is the internet and a computer/ laptop. Trainers and assessors will visit you for all observations or the micro teach assessments will be delivered at one of our training centres in Kent and the surrounding areas.
Do I need to pay for my own teaching resources?
No, we send you the teaching resources required for the course.
Are there any formal entry requirements?
Good reading and writing skills. You must be aged 19 and above to enrol on to the qualification.
When will I receive my certificate?
We are an approved centre with Direct Claims status which means you will not wait weeks to receive your certificate.
