Award in Education and Training or PTLLS?

The Award in Education and Training was previously known as PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector).

Learners can progress onto levels 4 and 5 to extend their knowledge and apply for QTLS status which is a professional status recognised in the education sector.

To achieve the course you must deliver at least one 15 minute microteaching session. For the additional 45 minutes, you can either deliver additional microteaching sessions.

If you are in a teaching role, you can achieve the qualification by demonstrating teaching and training practice to individuals or groups within your work environment. If you are teaching, we recommend enrolling onto the level 4 Certificate in Education and Training or the Level 5 Education and Training depending how many hours you teach.

 

Certificate in Education and Training or CTLLS?

The Certificate in Education and Training qualification was previously known as CTLLS (certificate in teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector).

Learners can progress onto level 5 Diploma to extend their knowledge and apply for QTLS status which is a professional status recognised in the education sector.

To achieve the course you must deliver and log 30 hours teaching practice.

 

Diploma in Education and Training or DTLLS?

The Diploma in Education and Training qualification was previously known as DTLLS (certificate in teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector).

Once achieved you can apply for QTLS status which is a professional status recognised in the education sector.

To achieve the course you must deliver and log 100 hours teaching practice.
